Feel PC Adventurous...Try Case Mods

Ok guys (and gays) I know there's some of you out there that love to be the handyman (person) around the house, well I have a challenge for you that may seen totally crazy, but for the true handyman is possible. There's a growing trend among techs, that love to modify there PC cases showing their unique tastes. I've gathered some resources together to show the how easy and how wild you can get with “ case mods”.

Lets start with the tools you may need. This can range from simple double sided tape to metal nibble cutters, it all depends on how wild you want to get. The site below has a simple list of tools that cover the range of simple to wild.
CaseModGod - is a great source for the beginner and the skilled

The simplest mod to start with is the “window on the side of case”. This mod has you putting a clear opening on the side of your PC case showing off the insides of your PC. Now you may ask “why would I want to show off my computer guts”. Well once the “window” is in the side, your going to add some cool lights to the inside for a hot looking PC. CrazyPC has a great kit to get you started, with all the templates needed to get that window in your case. The only part you have to do on this is cut the side out to fit the window in, which can be done with a simple jigsaw, drill and masking tape (to protect the side of the case from scratches from jigsaw).
Now that you have the opening cut and you've installed your window kit, it's time to add some “light” and “color” to your case. Again CrazyPC and the light kit to make life a little easier, and add that special “Wow” to your computer. Choose the light that best suits your needs and just follow the instructions provide with the kit next thing you know your case is looking “WILD”

Now take a look at what some very talented people were able to do, that started out just like you are

YES!! The soccer ball IS A COMPUTER!!!
