Some Basic Computer Tips
Here are a few basic computer tips to try before calling in the geek squad to your house. The steps or tips below can be done by the average user for the most part. If you are not great with computers, it is not a bad idea to get someone to help you through these following tips.
Run a Virus Check
You can get a free Virus program at http://www.free-av.com/ if you don't have one. Make sure to do a full system scan and to remove any viruses. It is a good idea to do this every month or so at least.
Get rid of spyware
Go to lavasoft.com and get ad-aware for free. Install ad-aware and then run a full spyware scan. Most likely it will find some issues. Removing spyware/malware is something that should be done very often since it seems to be very easy to get.
Hopefully these few tips are easy enough and can improve your computer experience.
